Recap: Be That Person Completion Banquet

Be that Person Inc is a registered 501(c)3 based in Kentucky that provides local youth Life Skills courses and provides pro bono birthday parties for families in need.

In wrapping up their first year as a non-profit, Octane was there for all the details and celebration of a successful first year.

The Details

Executive Director, Nakia Coffman had an idea and a vision. She had a idea of blue watercolor design we went from there.

Paperie & Signage

Oversized blue watercolor menus, place cards for reserved families and printed event program was exactly what the Executive Director had in mind.

The event brochure included a welcome note from Nakia as well as special thanks to every speaker, donor and volunteer.

The Impact

What made this so special was the impact of the program. I made a matching slideshow presentation to show the numbers.

  • 19 Birthdays
  • 14+ Program Applicants
  • 8 Program Students
  • 6 Program Graduates

Overall over 350 lives impacted by both the Life Skills program and the The GiveBack birthday program in its first year without any initial startup capitol or cost. That’s amazing!

The Favors

I loved these small simple thank you gifts to the speakers present, a hot cocoa kit with a decaled mug. The hand calligraphy was designed by Bluegrass Script while the decals we made in-house. These logo cookies by Lauren’s Custom Cookies was a great personalized way to say thank you.

Between all the heart felt speeches and testimonials, this event was an amazing success recognizing our board, our volunteers and our graduates.

We can’t wait to see what 2020 brings for this organization!
